Hi, I'm Sarah

Curiosity about what makes humans tick has driven me to study psychology. Observing people, understanding their motivations and how those manifest in behavior is what l learned – and it’s now the unique perspective I bring to my work in UX. Products, services and interfaces can be extremely beautiful, interesting, innovative – and also useless, if the user doesn't want to, know how to, or love to use them. The intersection of digital, physical and human is where I want to be to create experiences that go beyond satisfaction to delight.

What other people may see as chaos or ambiguity I see as a welcome challenge. I bring structure into chaos by asking the right questions and iterating on product and process. I very much enjoy this exciting journey of creating innovative products and unique experiences in complex environments.

USER-CENTERED DESIGN – With a strong end-user focus I learn every relevant aspect about the user and the use environment. I iterate on design based on user research in order to uncover potential usability issues and achieve a great user experience.

EXPLORATION – I seek to explore the unknown and I am not afraid to embrace ambiguity

PASSION – Creating forward thinking user experiences is my passion and I thrive at solving challenging design problems in technically sophisticated environments

COLLABORATION – I’m involved in and drive a lot of cross-functional and cross-discipline collaboration. I communicate my design rationales effectively, transparently and understandably to ensure buy-in and commitment from stakeholders, team members and management
